First off. I really liked Shari and Louise Cs answers. I share a lot of their opinions. With the exception of making the main characters the weasley family, i completely feel the same about the rest of sharis answer. br My new least favorite character is now officially Ginny. This girl really doesnt have a role in the series and is really just background noise. Her attitude went from painstakingly shy to being rude and b!tchy. She became too much of a smartass for me to tolerate, and there was NO love between Harry and her. He never showed any interest in her throughout the first five books. Then in the sixth book after he sees Ron having fun snogging every girl within twenty feet, then suddenly realizes hes madly in love with Ginny. So many fake cheesy love moments between them. The biggest perhaps is at dumbledores funeral. when she tells harry she never gave up on him or some crap. brbrI would keep the main character and storyline focused on harry, but would include Ron and Hermiones POVs too.brbrI would keep the main villain voldemort of course and snape would still be the baddest good guy around...brbrI also agree with Louise Cs view of the Dursleys. The way the dursleys treated harry in the books was a bit too exaggerated. I mean the way they treated him was inhumane sometimes. Like letting marges bulldog chase him up a tree and leave him up there for hours scared to death like that! In the real word people would notice such abuse and would alert the authorities or social services. They would also dress harry as well dressed as they keep Dudley. They would if they were half the perfectionists J.K. tries to pass them off as. brbrI would have made harry go back to school during the seventh year. Because lets face it, it just wasnt the same. I thought they did too much camping and during all that time, there wasnt much getting done. They could have left school or four months early. They could have accomplished the same things in that amount of time. brbrI would have made Dumbledore, Minister of Magic. I dont care what reasons Dumbledore hid behind, for not accepting that job. Because in the whole series, there wasnt a character as wise, strong, or brave as Dumbledore was. So I think he could have handled the jobs and dealt with whatever demons made him doubt otherwise. Because I thought it was a bit selfish of him. It would have helped their side tremendously. Because the current ministers did everything but help.brbrIm gonna stop with one last thing. I would have either had no epilogue or had one that made sense. and was a lot lengthier so we could know about all our favorite characters. Not just Harry and his oddly named children.
